When THE MIDDLE MAN mini-series was ready to be collected into it's first trade paperback, THE MIDDLEMAN: THE TRADE PAPERBACK IMPERATIVE, I was asked by creator Javier Grillo-Marxuach whether I would be interested in contributing a pin-up of the character for an art gallery feature in the TPB.  I was thrilled to do it and came up with a concept of the Middle Man and Wendy battling a shark-monster under water.  Javi was thrilled and the piece ran in the book along with a number of other excellent artistic contributions.

This first trade collection is sold-out.  However, the second trade paperback, THE MIDDLE MAN: THE SECOND VOLUME INEVITABILITY (collecting the second mini-series) is still available.  The fun surprise that came my way with the second mini-series was that Javi and artist, Les McClaine liked my shark-monster concept so much they found a way to include the character in the story.

Both volumes, including my contribution to the gallery, are collected into the compendium collection THE MIDDLE MAN:  THE COLLECTED SERIES INDISPENSIBILITY.

Together in one explosive tome, it’s all three volumes of “The Middleman,” the Viper Comics smash coming soon to ABC Family! It’s all here: the complete story of Wendy Watson – art student turned crime-fighter for the world’s most absurdly secretive organization – loaded with extras and ready for action!
