*cough* I don't much care for Little Cheese....so I purposely left him out. Plus, technically, he was killed in the last story they appeared in. So there.
I've chosen to ignor that Zod-awful back-up story that Geoff Johns wrote. If ANY superhero team doesn't need to be reinvented as "grim and gritty" it's the Zoo Crew. That turned me off so much, I even skipped the Final Ark miniseries, because I assumed it would follow up on that story. But since I found out it didn't, I just ordered the tpb on Amaon a couple of days ago.
Wu-oh. You are not going to like the ending of that miniseries. Scott Shaw! Said explicitly that it was an ending that was forced on them by Dan Didio. And you wont like it.
Brilliant work, Keith Howl. :)
ReplyDeleteFastback looks like he wants to be on a Jack Kirby cover, and Captain Carrot looks spot-on.
Wow! Great blog mate - like your stuff.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, my name is Jay, and I am the developer of www.comicbookandmoviereviews.com - pleased to meet you.
Thanks a lot for your feedback, Jay! Come around often. :)
ReplyDeleteKeith Howl! Love it!
ReplyDeleteThis was the very first ongoing comic-book series that I collected. I still have all the original issues.
You forgot Little Cheese.
